Clay Pecorin launched RainMaker Films in 2015. He oversees all business aspects of the company. Most recently, Pecorin was lead producer on the film, THE BIG WEDDING, released by Lionsgate in 2013 and featured an all-star cast including Robert DeNiro, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried and Robin Williams.
In 2014, Pecorin produced the drama, LOST IN THE SUN, which stars Josh Duhamel of the TRANSFORMERS series and breakout actor Josh Wiggins. He also invested in and executive produced along with Mark Wahlberg STEALING CARS with William H. Macy and John Leguizamo starring. He is producer on the upcoming thriller Urge starring Pierce Brosnan. Additional producing credits include the indie feature ANOTHER YOU, starring Ksenia Solo and Diego Boneta. Pecorin’s film career began as an investor in the indie cult-classic GOING GREEK, which premiered on Showtime.
A Clemson graduate, Pecorin launched his career in publishing, and raised more than $350 million in debt and equity capital for a number of media companies. He also has worked closely with icons Michael Milken and Magic Johnson on their respective philanthropic initiatives. A resident of Greenwich, Conn., Pecorin serves on the Board of the Greenwich International Film Festival and was featured in Greenwich Magazine’s annual “Power Issue.”
